Panjabi Taliban Announce to Fight on this Side of the Durand Line

37872The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan summoned the Pakistani Charge d’ Affairs Mr. Said Muaazzam Shah and expressed Afghanistan’s severe and deep concern regarding Panjabi Taliban’s latest announcement to launch attacks on this side of the Durand Line.
Having condemned Panjabi Taliban’s latest movements and news releases, Head of the First Political Directorate Mr. Abdussamad Samad said, “what Panjabi Taliban have recently done and said is a clear conspiracy against Afghanistan’s security and stability, and such utterances and actions are against the international rights and norms and in opposition with the principles of good neighborhood.”
Head of the First Political Directorate also added: “The Islamic Republic of Afghanistan has been subject to terrorist attacks for many years, and there is no doubt that the Pakistani intelligence networks are training, mobilizing, and funding these terrorist groups, and a large number of Pakistani terrorists have been killed and arrested in different parts of the country.”
Mr. Abdussamad Samad called Panjabi Taliban’s latest announcement about expanding war in the territory of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan a clear and dangerous interference continued by the Pakistani intelligence groups in the domestic affairs of Afghanistan and considered these types of activities against the lives of the innocent people of Afghanistan. He also said, “The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Islamic Republic of Afghanistan condemns the usage of terrorism and believes that Afghanistan and Pakistan can change this region into a place of friendship, cooperation, and economic welfare.”
The Pakistani Charge d’ Affairs in Kabul promised to convey the concerns of the Afghan Government to the responsible Pakistani authorities.
