Ministry of Foreign Affairs Summons the Ambassador of Pakistan

Deputy Foreign Minister Mr. Naseer Ahmad Andisha summoned the Ambassador of Pakistan to Kabul, Mr. Sayed Abrar Hussain to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs today afternoon.
During the meeting, Mr. Andisha condemned the latest Pakistani forces’ artillery shelling on Shangrai area of Sarkano district of Kunar province, as well as Goshta area of Nengarhar province, causing fire in in a forest in Sarkano district of Kunar province and displacing civilians in such cold season, and asked for clarification in this regard.
Mr. Andisha expressed serious concern regarding the latest Pakistani forces military movement in Camp Ghani Mohmand Agency area near Durand crossing, arrest and harassment of a huge number of Afghan refugees in all states of Pakistan, and closure of Torkham and Chaman gates to the faces of Afghan traders and pedestrians, and stated that the arrested Afghans should be released and the gates to be reopened.
Later on, the Pakistani Ambassador stated that the latest Pakistani military movement is Pakistan’s measures aimed against terrorist and extremist activities. He added that Afghanistan’s protest and concerns would be shared with the Pakistani authorities.
