During the above-mentioned meetings, Dr. Andisha stressed on the importance of expanding the two countries’ relations and mutual cooperation in different areas. Delivering a speech on one occasion, he said that the ties between Afghanistan and India were based on common friendship and mutual understanding.
Talking with his Indian counterparts with respect to consular, diplomatic and training programs especially, discussing the agreement on the creation of an air corridor between Afghanistan and India, Dr. Andisha emphasized on the need and significance of the transfer of expertise of utilizing the latest information technology as well as the sharing and transfer of administrative and financial knowledge to Afghanistan.
Meanwhile, officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of India promised to boost the extent of cooperation between Kabul and New Delhi on the exchange of information and technical expertise in respect of administrative, financial and consular affairs. To achieve these goals, they asked for the continued meeting of the specialized teams and groups of the two sides in the respective working areas.
The Deputy Foreign Minister for Administration and resources also visited the Afghan Embassy in New Delhi and the training programs of the Indian Foreign Service Institute (FSI).
