Dr. Mohammad Daud Yaar Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan to the United Kingdom delivered a lecture about Afghanistan at York University on 2 May 2014.
The title of Ambassador Yaar’s talk was “Afghanistan: Past, Present, and Future Prospects and Challenges.” A large number of students, professors, and researchers of that university attended the lecture.
During his trip to York, Ambassador Yaar met with staff and faculty of the university and discussed the issue of future cooperation between York University’s Department of Post-Conflict Reconstruction and Afghan Universities.
University of York is one of the top 10 universities in the UK, located in the city of York, North of England. Established in 1963, the campus university has expanded to more than thirty departments and centres, covering a wide range of subjects.
