Ambassador Jawad presented his Credentials to the Queen

HE Said Tayeb Jawad, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan in London, has presented his letter of credence as Afghan Ambassador to the Court of Saint James to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II on Tuesday 27th June 2017.

Ambassador Jawad and Mrs Jawad accompanied by Diplomats and Defence Attaché at a special ceremony escorted by the Royal Marshal to the Buckingham Palace.

Her Majesty the Queen accepted Ambassador Jawad’s credentials as Afghan Ambassador to the United Kingdom and expressed her best wishes to Ambassador Jawad and Mrs Jawad during their service in the UK.

Ambassador Jawad has previously served as Afghan Ambassador to the United States, Mexico, Brazil, Columbia and Argentina.
